Fuzz (www.fuzzproductions.com) is seeking a Senior User Interface / Visual Designer to join its award-winning creative team. A Sr UI Designer at Fuzz creates incredible visual work that is at the forefront of product design.
The perfect candidate for this role has a deep passion for designing user-centric digital products and a strong interest in the computer science that powers the world’s best apps and websites. They are experts in mobile app and website best practices, and know when and how to push the boundaries. They provide direction and leadership to designers working on their project teams, scope design phases of projects accurately and efficient, and attend pitches and industry events as required.
Your role in the project lifecycle begins with crafting the visual language that will give each app and website its unique identity. You’ll constantly collaborate with product managers, UX designers and engineers to create beautifully designed products through innovative animations, gorgeous interfaces and illustrations. You’ll lead a team of talented designers, directing and mentoring them while working with the Creative Director to come up with strategic approaches to client projects.
You will be directly responsible for: Driving innovation and excellence in digital product design Managing and leading a team of junior and mid-level designers, providing feedback on their individual work and helping them improve their overall design skills Presenting work to executive level client stakeholders and represent Fuzz and our work at all stages of the product lifecycle.
Qualifications: 5+ years of professional interface design experience, at least 2 while in an agency environment A strong portfolio demonstrating high conceptual thinking in both visual and interaction design Ability to translate requirements, user flows and wireframes into stunning interfaces Able to stay cool under pressure, and juggle multiple projects and deliverables without missing a beat Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience in at least one of the following: Creating interface animation guides Branding and identity design Video Editing, including motion graphics Prototyping tools, including Pixate, InVision, Marvel Designing presentations in Keynote
